The atmosphere is absolutely electric at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium tonight for Match 10 of IPL 2026. If you are tuning in late to the SRH vs LSG clash, you have missed an absolute rollercoaster of a first innings!
After Lucknow Super Giants captain KL Rahul won the toss and elected to bowl first, it looked like a brilliant decision. The LSG bowling attack came out swinging, putting the Sunrisers Hyderabad top-order under immense pressure and snagging early wickets to leave the home crowd in stunned silence.
The Rescue Act: Klaasen and Reddy Go Berserk
Just when LSG thought they had the game in a chokehold, the Sunrisers unleashed their middle-order firepower.
Nitish Kumar Reddy played a sensational, fearless knock, blasting 56 runs off just 32 balls. Striking at a massive 175.00, Reddy smashed 5 huge sixes into the Hyderabad night sky, completely shifting the momentum away from the Super Giants.
At the other end, the ever-reliable powerhouse Heinrich Klaasen proved exactly why he is one of the most dangerous T20 batters on the planet. Klaasen anchored the innings while simultaneously punishing the LSG bowlers, racking up 61 runs off 39 deliveries, including 5 boundaries and 2 towering sixes.
Setting Up a Massive Total
Thanks to this incredible counter-attacking partnership, SRH has completely flipped the script. As we approach the final overs of the first innings, the Sunrisers are sitting comfortably at 142/4 in 17.3 overs with a healthy run rate over 8.1.
With M Siddharth and Avesh Khan taking some heavy punishment in their spells, the pressure is entirely back on the Lucknow bowlers to stop the bleeding in the final 15 deliveries.
What do you think? Will SRH cross the 170-run mark, and is it enough to defend against a dangerous LSG batting lineup? Let us know in the comments below!
